Do you have limiting beliefs about God? Were you taught it is ungodly to want to be successful, take care of your health, or even want to be the best version of yourself?
Did you know limiting beliefs don’t come from Him?
As women of God, we have been saved, set apart, and chosen. We are called to shine for Him and bring Him glory.
Growing up, Heather was taught that wanting to be successful was ungodly and prideful, so she put her head down and settled for less in her career, friendships, and even her appearance.
Have you ever done that too?
Working with Heather, I taught her the truth of who God says she is in order to undo this stronghold. (Learn more about who God says you are, here.)
Heather has two kids, so I shared with her that although we are sinful, look at all we do for our children. Our lives are consumed with making their lives as perfect as possible. I asked her if she knew how much more her Father in heaven wanted to do for her, and she said no. Heather had been taught a wrong view of God, but now, she’s undoing the lies and shining her light to bring Him glory.

Do you experience limiting beliefs about God?
If so, ask Him to reveal His heart for you as a Father.
Did you know God wants to be glorified through your successes?
Think of a time you heard someone say," To God be the glory, or it was all Him," that can be you too, friend.
Dear God,
The truth of who you are and how you love me brings me to my knees.
I forget that I am your daughter and that when I shine my light, I bring you glory.
Break the stronghold over me that makes me feel like it’s wrong to want to be great at what you made me to do.
Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. I want my life to count for you, Lord. I want to look my best, be my best, and do my best, because I represent you. There is no pride in that. You saved me to shine for you.
Thank you for my God-given glow!
In Jesus’ name, amen.
Every message I share is rooted in the Word. Here's are Biblical foundation for this message:
You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
